Upcoming Trainings
Training Information
The trainings provided by The Co-Parent Coaching Lab, LLC are advanced trainings for professionals who already have experience working with families navigating divorce and co-parenting. Cohorts tend to be made up of couples and family therapists, social workers, family law attorneys, mediators, child mental health professionals, parenting coaches, and others with similar experience. Practitioners use the skills and knowledge gained within these trainings to enhance their current work, and many go on to become coaches in Collaborative Divorce cases.
The objective of these trainings is to:
1) Provide practice (in the form of role plays and case studies) for professionals in both co-parent coaching and mediation as it relates to separation/divorce and developing a parenting plan.
2) Provide age- and developmentally-appropriate education regarding parenting plan design, specifically concerning residential schedules.
3) Provide resources and referrals for challenging or complex cases.
Important notes about the Trainings:
All trainings are held in Kirkland, Washington, unless otherwise noted.
There are 4 Core trainings; each is offered once per calendar year.
Essentials of Co-Parent Coaching is a prerequisite for the other three trainings, which may be taken in any order.
Alumni are always welcome to register and retake a training for additional practice and to deepen their learning.
